“I was on my last maternity leave with my 3rd child and had gained a lot of weight that I couldn’t get rid of and didn't know how I was going to go about it. I heard of Vincent through friends so booked my first free with him. I enjoyed it so much and never looked back. I started hitting his classes everyday on the unlimited package doing up to 9/10 classes a week. I knew I had to make the most of my situation while being on maternity and I changed my diet slightly in order to help with the weight loss. After just 3 weeks in, I shed 4kg's. I saw a drastic change in such a short space of time which motivated me just to keep going. 6/7 month later I am 20kg's lighter and feel amazing. Because of VDLF losing weight has never been so easy and fun.
With a variety of classes to choose from throughout the week it makes it all that much easier to be able to attend when it suits you.”
“Since joining Vincent De Lima fitness my life has improved drastically. Before I joined I was lacking in confidence because of my weight, my health was getting worse day by day, getting ill all the time, running out of breath and not to mention my fatigue. I was very unmotivated as I felt really sad about my weight. I was worried that I would make a show of myself not being able to follow the steps or co-ordinate and everyone will be staring at me in class. However, because of VDLF I am now a lot more confident in myself, my health has massively improved and not to mention how much fun I have had and still have every day. I look forward to going and ensure whenever possible I am there. I have lost 13KGS in 10 months and still not restricting myself to the type of foods I want to eat! This is the biggest achievement so far.”
“Before we started working together I had done no exercise for over a year due to several knee surgeries, and wanted to get back into dance and exercise. Initially, I was worried about the intensity of the classes and if I could cope with my knee problems but having the free class to try it out really helped change my mind! I’m now addicted to the classes and don’t like it if I have to miss a class. The classes are great fun, and don’t seem like hard work at all. I’ve become much more fit and healthier in the process and the positive results I’ve achieved have motivated me to work even harder. “Before I started fitness classes with VDLF I was struggling to find that motivation to work out regularly. I was going to the gym and also had a Personal Trainer, the whole experience just felt like a chore and I absolutely hated it. I found that I always had to really push myself to go, and never felt satisfied after my training sessions as I wasn't an experienced gym user and found the environment a little intimidating. I just couldn’t see any progress whilst at the gym. So I decided it was time to try something different. The classes are totally addictive and working with VDLF is absolutely amazing. What I was unable to achieve at the gym I have achieved with VDLF in such a short space of time. VDLF classes are full of motivation, energy and are so much fun at the same time that you don’t even realise you are working out. The classes continuously keep me challenged and are always suited and adapted for all abilities. “Before I joined the classes, I was only doing the gym floor but it got boring and I wanted to give up exercising. One day I decided to start the classes and it happened to be Vincent's dance class that I started from. I tried once 5 years ago and never stopped since. My body has toned up, my metabolic age dropped from my actual age (27) to 14, and the percentage of my body muscles have increased significantly.
I hadn’t taken any dance classes before which made me think that I will not be able to keep up with the moves and choreography. I was very wrong.
Working with Vincent has been an absolute pleasure. He is an amazing and experienced dance instructor who makes his classes accessible for everyone. His classes offer great music, wonderful atmosphere, very good workout and so much fun at the same time.

“I was in a stressful job, comfort eating and not exercising at all and had gained two stone, I was miserable! I had heard good things about Vincent and the classes so decided to come along. The process has been quite tough from my perspective as I live in Bedfordshire and travel a distance to get to classes but that is a commitment in itself as the classes are fun and worth it! I have lost roughly two stone since I became a member.”
“I started classes 2 months after having a baby and I was eager to lose the baby weight and having been to Vincent's classes before I got pregnant I knew I would lose the weight fast and have fun doing it!
I wasn't sure if I'd be able to keep up but after a few classes I was confident as Vincent's classes are easy to follow whilst being challenging at the same time. The choreography is amazing and updated regularly which is awesome! The whole process has been absolutely brilliant and I love the classes and wish I could do more. My biggest goal so far is that I lost a stone in 3 months!”
“It’s been a real experience and I’ve learnt to let myself go and enjoy the moves, even if they’re wrong just to feel it from within and just letting go and not worrying if I do the steps wrong. Now I just give it my all in class barring aches and pains of course, and you always offer options for moves. Dancing without a mirror helps one to overcome any inhibitions. When I do dance in front of a mirror now I realize how far I have come with my expression of dance and I feel confident – thank you!”
“I tried many Zumba classes before joining Vincent but they were a bit slow and some I didn't even break a sweat on! When I became a member I found a lovely energetic healthy break from the rat race, and frankly I have more fun than going to a club. Where else can you go crazy, lose every inhibition, sweat like mad, jump and shout, learn dance techniques and sculpt yourself a better, healthier body. I was worried as I live in harrow but this is not an issue at all as I am prepared to even travel further for such excellent classes!
It is great me time, and organised at a convenient time for juggling working mothers. The music and choreography is great. You never know what's coming next, VDLF keep the music and dance steps fresh so you're guaranteed to learn something new every class. I have massively increased my stamina, improved my dance techniques and agility since joining.”
“Stretching is something I wanted to learn how to do properly and is something we rarely dedicate enough time towards. I was looking forward to having a class focused on this and helping us stretch properly to help avoid injuries. The class is a friendly and relaxed environment which supports all level of ability. The class is a varied and intense workout! I leave the class with a floating feeling, with muscles relaxed and my mind calm and focused and ready for the day. I have increased flexibility and now feel I can focus the mind.”
“I felt a tad anxious trying the class as I have more of a dance/cardio interest but also because I have limited flexibility so thought I probably won't take to it much, but was willing to give it a try. I love how the instructor uses the time to focus on your body and mind and teaching them to become more supple and less rigid. The music helps me work out and feel more calm and relaxed and I love the focus on stretching and breathing exercises. After class I feel extremely calm, chilled and relaxed, but feel like I have worked my whole body. It definitely compliments my ability in other classes such as dance and Zumba, and although a work in progress, my flexibility has definitely improved.”
“I felt fine before coming to class as was doing Zumba and Pilates but wanted more toning.
I liked that it was slightly out of my comfort zone and stretched me. I thought the class was doing me good and my strength and endurance were improving.”
